AI use

AI tools were used substantially in this website's redesign. This page describes that work; it does not make a blanket claim about every project or future writeup hosted here.

Design and implementation

OpenAI Codex generated and edited the redesigned site's HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Python build and content-management tools. It also helped implement the portfolio cards, Markdown writeup pages, search and category filters, contribution graph, and public-file packaging.

I provided the requirements and directed revisions, including keeping the original dark theme and choosing the featured projects. The resulting code should be understood as AI-assisted work, not as code I wrote entirely by hand.

Text and background information

AI drafted and revised the site's descriptions, navigation text, documentation, and this disclosure. The background information came from the existing website and a context document I supplied. Project descriptions were also checked against the files in the repository.

AI was not used as a source for invented qualifications, employment, certifications, or project results. The site does not claim that I personally wrote or reviewed every line of generated text or code.

Existing projects and archive

The redesign preserved the existing project demo code and the original pages in the legacy archive. AI added the surrounding portfolio presentation and decorative diagrams; those diagrams are not screenshots of the projects.

Preserving the demos during this redesign does not establish whether AI was used when they were originally created. Any project-specific disclosure belongs with that project. The original site's own AI styling credits remain in the archive.

Writeups

Writeups imported from my chat history and project documentation are labeled AI Generated Writeups Imported from Chat History. AI organized and drafted these summaries from material I supplied, and I review them for accuracy. The label describes how the website article was written; it does not describe how the underlying project was completed.

The CPTC tryout article is an AI-generated summary of my report. I completed the assessment and wrote the attached penetration-testing report without AI. That distinction is also stated in the article.

If AI is used for a future writeup, its role should be disclosed in that post, including whether it helped with editing, code, analysis, or the underlying work. This page does not label future posts as AI-free.

Activity data

GitHub repository and follower counts come from the public GitHub API. The contribution graph is loaded from a third-party chart service using the public GitHub username. These values are retrieved, not invented by AI, and can be delayed or unavailable because of caching or service failures.

Testing

Codex ran build and behavior checks, checked local links, and inspected desktop and mobile previews during the redesign. Those checks do not guarantee that the site is free of bugs or accessibility issues.
